Louisville, KY, July 11 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 3DR Labs, an Accumen company, today announced the launch of its Cardiac Center of Excellence and Imaging Excellence Advisory Services to support radiology departments in hospitals and national outpatient consultations.
Cardiac Center of Excellence
Cardiac computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are increasingly accepted as first-line tools for the assessment and management of heart disease, and as such, radiology departments face greatly increased demand for these highly specialized studies.
“To help meet this demand, 3DR Labs has created a dedicated Cardiac Center of Excellence. By dedicating a team of experienced and highly trained technologists to cardiac post-processing, 3DR offers its customers the highest quality advanced post-processing, while shortening turnaround times for these scans, so physicians receive the information they need to diagnose and treat their patients faster,” said Dr. Robert Falk, Founder and Chief Medical Officer of 3DR Labs.
“By offering post-processing of cardiac exams 24/7/365, 3DR is meeting growing market demands while continuing to serve as a resource for healthcare systems struggling with their own staff. “, he added.
Imaging Excellence Advisory Services
Radiology departments often lack internal resources to address operational and performance issues that arise.
“Imaging departments often have operational challenges such as workflow issues or patients not showing up for their appointments, but they don’t have the time or resources to analyze the problem and create a resolution plan. Alternatively, they may have a defined solution for a problem, but not the resources to implement it,” said Judy Zakutny, Director of Imaging Excellence Advisory Services at 3DR Labs.
“Often an imaging department just needs an advisor with analytics and imaging experience as well as the bandwidth to analyze, address and resolve operational issues. That’s where our Imaging Excellence Advisory team comes in. We have put ourselves in their shoes, we understand the challenges and we will come up with workable solutions,” she added.
The 3DR Labs Imaging Excellence Advisory Services team was created to provide creative, practical and sustainable solutions to the toughest departmental challenges. The team takes a collaborative, data-driven approach and provides clients with an expert analysis of their pain points, a detailed report of findings, and an issue resolution plan with tactical strategies to employ. If necessary, the team will also implement the plan and carry out an analysis of the results at the end of the project.
3DR Labs Imaging Excellence Advisory Services was created by former Imaging Managers who are experts in change management and process improvement. They have over 50 years of experience in tactical and clinical imaging involving all roles from technologist to director at the system level. They are also active members of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA).
