‘Immersive Van Gogh’ exhibition announces Orlando location, new opening date


A traveling exhibit that uses large digital projectors and animation almost featuring the works of Vincent van Gogh arrives at the Orange County Convention Center.

Lighthouse Immersive announced Monday that the “Immersive Van Gogh” exhibit announced the location of its show in Orlando, which will be located in the West Lobby of the Convention Center. The new opening date is Friday, November 26.

“This astonishing building will be transformed into an unforgettable artistic experience with a 25,000 square foot exhibition space where the art of Vincent van Gogh will come to life around you!” say the organizers.

The installation includes the Potato Eaters (The Potato Eaters, 1885), The Starry Night (Starry Night, 1889), The Sunflowers (Tournesols, 1888) and The Bedroom (The Bedroom, 1889), and more, according to OrlandovanGogh.com.

“Immersive Van Gogh has been hailed as a whole new way to experience art, and we’re excited to see how the city and the people of Orlando have embraced the exhibit,” said Corey Ross, Producer of Lighthouse Immersive.

“We have created a unique and exciting production where Orlando residents and visitors can literally surround themselves with the work of Vincent van Gogh, one of the greatest artists to ever live,” added producer Svetlana Dvoretsky.

Originally scheduled for October, the exhibition is conceived and conceived by Massimiliano Siccardi, with a soundtrack by Luca Longobardi.

Social distancing, increased sanitation and reduced capacity will be in place as COVID-19 security measures and masks will be required. Adult tickets range from around $ 40 to $ 100, while children’s tickets are priced at $ 30.
