Mass Frankfurt India announced that it has secured new dates and a new venue for the International Elevator and Escalator Expo (IEE Expo) in Mumbai. The change, says the organizer, will allow it to organize the first biennial edition after a break of uncertainty and recovery at attract maximum participation and quality attendance.
The show will take place September 6-8, 2022 at the JIO World Convention Center (JWCC), returning to its previous February date and giving the vertical transportation industry more time to prepare while providing security, confidence and flexibility to exhibitors and attendees.
The spike in Omicron cases in India, along with regulatory guidelines in the state of Maharashtra, had led the organizer to postpone the show dates for the 9th edition of the IEE Expo.
Marking its restart with a series of successful physical exhibitions and conferences in the last quarter of 2021, including the industry’s E2 forum, Messe Frankfurt India Managing Director Raj Manek said:The E2 Forum highlighted the pulse of the industry as well as the impending opportunities for elevators and lifts for passenger mobility across major sectors in India. All eyes are now on business through the 2022 edition and as organizers we are focused on ensuring a strong return, understanding that the industry needs this platform more than ever to revive the sector, strengthen collaborations and testify to intelligent and interconnected building systems. Technology.” Explaining the decision to shift the dates, Manek added: “Bearing in mind current developments, we believe rescheduling the show will create a healthy business environment while providing exhibitors with more time to plan with certainty. , thereby creating trust for businesses. Alongside the show, the organizers will also host the E2 Forum which will be set up with L’Avenir Elevator Consultancy as a knowledge partner. The Forum is expected to address key topics targeting the global and Indian elevator and escalator market.
