QSNCC (The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center), the largest convention center in Bangkok’s central business district, is set to open in September, and this world-class facility is already a huge success, attracting many major international events in the heart of downtown Bangkok. Nearly 13 million visitors from around the world are expected for its first year.

Major events already scheduled include the 2022 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit on November 14-19, when country leaders and delegates from the 21 economies and beyond will be hosted at the QSNCC, while Informa Markets, the largest trade show organizer in the world, has already booked six major prestigious events. More than 130 international and national events are currently confirmed.

Suitable for all types of international events, from corporate to corporate to lifestyle, including concerts, fashion shows, esports, and arts and crafts, QSNCC already lives up to its position as the “ultimate inspiring world-class event platform”.

With over 300,000 square meters of total space, featuring state-of-the-art technology and international standard facilities, the QSNCC has been designed to provide flexible solutions for event planners. The homogeneous floor surface without pillars offers sufficient space and flexible logistical access. Organizers can benefit from two-story loading zones and can host multiple events simultaneously.

A visit to an event at QSNCC is truly an experience. That’s because there’s so much more under one roof. QSNCC brings the place to life with a sprawling new shopping mall ‘BALM’ – Bangkok’s Active Lifestyle Mall’ – as well as spaces that make it a place for meetings, gatherings and community hangouts. Event visitors as well as families and local workers can choose from more than 100 leading retail brands, restaurants and amenities.

The QSNCC will be the first and only convention center in Bangkok to receive ‘Leadership in Energy and Environment Design’ (LEED) silver certification and features vast expanses of green landscape in the form of ‘Benjakitti Forest Park’; this is reflected in the design concepts of the Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall.

Sutichai Bunditvorapoom, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales, NCC Management and Development Co., Ltd., the operator of QSNCC, said, “After Thailand reopened and now that international border restrictions have been lifted , the last quarter of 2022 will be an exciting time for QSNCC to get started with this brand new venue. The response from major international event organizers in booking so many conferences and events ahead of our opening is tremendous and a wonderful testament to the venue. .

“International visitors will not only enjoy exciting events at world-class facilities, but they will also discover superb shopping and lifestyle opportunities and a taste of Thai culture – all under one roof.”
